Culture Night, in other words, Kulturnatten, occurs once a year in which museums, concert halls, educational institutions, and churches open their doors to the public. This also includes food tastings, the Zoo, the Planetarium, etc. And it only costed us 90kr, which is around 15 bucks.
The night started off slow, but near the beginning we found a little concert with food tastings. We had the most amazing open-faced sandwich with ham pate and sweet pumpkin chutney. We also had the most amazing pumpkin soup with creme fraiche, pumpkin seeds, and cranberries.
Ice sculptures as well |
Next, we visited the Copenhagen Round Tower, which had different art exhibits on the way up. Unfortunately, the wait was too long to actually get to the top, so we left early.
Incredible view |
We went to a few other museums, but ended our night with climbing the top of my favorite church tower in the city.
In the daytime, obvioulsy |
